Todd Katschke brings many years of experience in vocal and instrumental performance to the Singapore Men’s Chorus.

His experience reflects the breadth of his interests, which include (instrumentally) jazz band, marching band, brass quintet, and symphonic band; and (vocally) mixed choir, jazz choir, madrigal group, barbershop chorus, and men’s chorus. He has also appeared in several community musical theatre productions.

Todd has sung over 8 years with men’s choruses, which provided opportunities to perform in many distinguished venues, including the Kennedy Centre in Washington, DC; Symphony Hall in Boston; and Carnegie Hall in New York City.

Born and raised in Chicago, IL, USA, Todd has lived and performed in Finland, Taiwan, Japan, and Washington, DC before landing on stage in Singapore.

Jason actively tries to change that myth by injecting life, emotion, variety and a healthy dose of humour in his work.

He is currently the choral director of 5 schools, and conducts voice lessons for adults. As a member of the Choral Directors Association Singapore (CDAS), he helps to promote choral activities in Singapore.

Jason’s forte lies in arranging songs, and he has arranged numerous songs for schools, societies and a cappella groups, for concerts and special events like the Singapore Youth Festival.

Jason sings with a cappella group Key Elements. In 2004, Key Elements won the 2nd prize in Taiwan’s 4th National Sing Sing! Choral/Vocal Competition, where Jason was also awarded Best Arranger for his work on “A-Cent-Chu-ate The Positive”.
